The journey so far...
I first tried pyrography at school, and absolutely fell in love with creating burned art. My first ever piece of pyrography was a flying barn owl, and I remember being amazed at how the different effects of the plumage could be created. That got me hooked, and the woodburning continued - I made various items for friends and family, until 2017 when Pyro Art Craft was officially created and I started to sell pieces online and at local markets.
I have been trading and creating artworks and pyrography gifts ever since!
I try to bring my love of nature and animals to my work, and endeavour to source supplies and wood from sustainable sources. Everything I create is entirely hand drawn and burned into the wood - there is no laser machine at work here!
As such all pieces are totally unique, even if drawn to the same design.
I love what I do, and I hope that that love shines through into the art that I create.
Covid 19 had a devastating effect on businesses in 2020, and the craft markets and events that Pyro Art frequented disappeared, with online sales becoming the only source of income. I want to thank each and every one of my customers for their support. Like most small businesses Pyro Art only exists and thrives thanks to the loyalty and custom of those who appreciate hand made and unique gifts. Thank you.
